For 32 years, I have served as a trusted trustee, helping shape educational policy and improve student outcomes at the Kern County Superintendent of Schools and in my community. I have advocated for resources, supported diverse student needs, and helped strengthen the future of local education.
My extensive knowledge of KCSOS operations enables me to make sound decisions that reflect unique needs.
I am running for another term to help shape Kern County Board of Education on
decisions that improve educational quality, strengthen community and stakeholder relationships, and address the diverse needs of students and families.
The Kern County Board of Education plays a crucial role in overseeing educational policies and ensuring quality education across the county’s school districts. Our board is responsible for making significant decisions regarding budgeting, property development, educational programs, and expulsion and district transfer hearings.
